Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of IT to lead our technology initiatives as we undergo significant growth over the next 3 to 4 years. Located in Scottsdale, AZ, this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding company. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT infrastructure, network management, and mergers and acquisitions, with a proven ability to manage a team and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee and enhance the IT infrastructure and systems to align with company growth and objectives. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT roadmap that supports our expansion and operational needs.
- Network and Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize our network, server infrastructure, and IT systems. Ensure robust performance, security, and reliability of IT operations.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Lead IT integration and support during mergers and acquisitions. Travel within the Southwest region as required to oversee and facilitate IT aspects of M&A activities.
- Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Hands-On Leadership: Be actively involved in technical tasks and problem-solving. Ensure that hands-on expertise is applied to resolve complex IT issues and drive projects to successful completion.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters, communicating effectively with both technical staff and C-level executives. Translate technical concepts into business terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure Expertise: Utilize your experience with Microsoft Azure to manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security.
- Decision Making: Take full ownership of IT decisions, including technology investments, system upgrades, and policy development.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in network management, IT infrastructure, and M&A integration.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, with hands-on experience in Azure and other cloud technologies.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leading and developing small IT teams, with the ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the Southwest region for M&A-related activities and other business needs.
