Job Description: Asset Manager - Multifamily Real Estate
Position Summary
The Asset Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and financial performance of our multifamily real estate portfolio. This individual will be responsible for overseeing asset value maximization, financial analysis, and investment decision-making.
The candidate will be working directly with the principal and senior team members on a daily basis overseeing the firms portfolio.
The candidate will be required to travel several times a month on site visits to company assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Performance:
* Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize asset performance.
* Work directly with our property management division.
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Asset Value Maximization:
* Develop and execute asset value enhancement strategies, such as renovations, repositioning, and refinancing.
* Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities to increase property value.
* Oversee property valuations and appraisals.
* Investment Decision-Making:
* Analyze potential acquisitions and dispositions to identify profitable investment opportunities.
* Conduct due diligence and prepare financial models to support investment decisions.
* Negotiate terms and conditions for property transactions.
* Risk Management:
* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with property ownership.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect asset value.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Investor Relations:
* Communicate effectively with investors and stakeholders.
* Prepare and present financial reports and updates.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with investors.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3years of experience in multifamily real estate asset management.
* Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
* In-depth knowledge of real estate investment principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in financial analysis software and property management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in property acquisitions and dispositions.
* Certification in real estate investment or a related field.
