DTS is looking for a mid-level Business Analyst to be part of a team that supports program management, requirements analysis, testing, training, and customer support. The customer is located in Washington, DC metro area but the position is hybrid requiring face to face meetings as dictated by the client. This position will be part of a team that supports Project Management, Change Management / Strategic Communications, Process Improvement, Management Consulting, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Organizational Advancement for Federal clients.
The Business Analyst should be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization, identify and suggest new ideas that will facilitate the business processes, demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, meet deadlines, work independently when required, and work well with others demonstrating the highest levels of customer service. This is a great opportunity to grow in areas such as project management, client management, and business analysis supporting a human capital system.
Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes / skills:
- Experience collecting and documenting technical and functional requirements including test scripts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused demeanor
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Government processes, procedures, and standards
- Proficiency using full suite of Microsoft tools
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical knowledge
- Support client needs in the areas of one or more of the following areas program management, requirements analysis, testing, training, and customer support
- Communicate among team members and client stakeholders
- Participate in all required team meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Government clients
- Ability to learn new subjects quickly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both technical- and business-focused
- Must have strong communication skills, with a focused and inventive consultative style working directly with clients and key stakeholders
- Must be dedicated to developing and delivering outstanding work in a collaborative environment.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a federal government security
