The IT Infrastructure Manager position is responsible for leading a team of sysadmins, network admins, and systems architects to ensure company technology systems are well maintained and operate reliably in a 24/7 365 days a year operational environment. In addition, this role will work closely with other IT leadership, business leadership, and vendors to achieve company technology service and availability goals.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Work with IT and business leadership to ensure IT technologies meet business needs
- Manage vendors related to server, network, and storage infrastructure
- Closely supervise team of administrators for the network, server systems, storage, and cloud applications and infrastructure
- Manage and ensure stability of all infrastructure systems: networking, servers, storage, cloud apps and data
- Manage datacenter operations in colocation facility
- Work closely with cybersecurity team to ensure compliance and other security needs
- Ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested for all core systems and data
- Work with IT and business leadership to ensure proper business continuity plans are implemented and tested
- Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization
- Collaborate with end user support team to create documentation, enforce policy and provide escalation tier support
- Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Technology infrastructure and back-end systems.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support for end user systems.
- Practice asset management for all hardware, software, and equipment.
- Makes workload of staff to meet deadlines for business projects and other tasks and priorities as assigned

Education And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, Required
- 6+ years industry experience of popular IT technology vendors for networking, servers, cloud and other technology systems (i.e. Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Microsoft, Dell)
- 4+ years leadership experience
- Preferred Certifications Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA, Project Management (PMP), Healthcare IT (CPHIMS), or IT auditing (CISA), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
