We are seeking a multilingual results-driven Director, Strategic Accounts to join our team of Account Managers and Partner Managers. This is a sales position carrying a quota with commissions and role expectations aligning to performance requirements. The successful candidate will take a leading role in driving revenue growth through indirect sales referrals, upsells/cross-sales to our existing clients, renewal of agreements, license upsell and managing our partner channels all while delighting our clients with strong client satisfaction results.
The Americas business unit target markets span geographically across North and South America with an industry focus on top 100 Banks, top 150 Credit Unions as well as F1000 customers within the Financial Services Industry, Healthcare, Insurance, Gaming, Consumer IoT, Telecom and Technology Firms. We are continuously exploring emerging markets and opportunities in addition to our core business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With the intent of delighting our clients while encouraging them to expand their relationships with our company’s offerings, the role’s oversight will be accountable for the following activities:
- Upsell software for new products and/or new use cases via expanded client functions
- Grow direct and indirect clients’ current deployments through onsite visits, proactive outreach, Quarterly Business Reviews, and regular interactions
- Renewal of client and partner agreements for the benefit of maintaining our revenue base for the company
- Earn high performance approvals through the review of client feedback, surveys, and other measurements
- Generate new leads and close sales in partnership with the sales team, while maintaining an “Excellent” rating with our channel partners
- Create, maintain, and monitor a sales pipeline of direct, indirect and channel partner opportunities within our tools to ensure over-achievement within the designated revenue guideline(s)
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with End Customers, Market and Technology Partners
- Collaborate closely with:
- Internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure client needs are met.
- Current and prospective customers to define their requirements and continuing involvement to ensure successful implementation.
- Perform Quarterly Sales Review (QSR) presentation to include preparation and delivery
- Build strategic account plans and strategies for each assigned account and partner.
- Deepen understanding of the identity management vertical and provide insights and thought leadership to clients and partners to position our solutions effectively
- Develop presentation and trade show materials
Qualifications:
Person Specification:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in account and partner management, or a similar role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (e.g. preferably with product companies)
- Proven commercial success selling direct or managing Tier-1 financial services markets and Fortune 500 clients in the United States
- A track record of success driving consultative led complex solution sales/partnerships
- Demonstrable high-level contacts in key end customers, partners, agents with credibility and respect within this community is essential
- Demonstrable ability to think and act strategically while maintaining a pragmatic commercial perspective
- Strong influencing skills, presence, articulate and confident oral communicator.
- Highly committed, energetic, technically savvy, determined and “win-win” mentality.
- Required business-level proficiency in Spanish
- Preferences for candidates with:
- Experience selling in a cybersecurity or identity management software company
- Emerging market sales experience, channel partner experience, professional services and/or solution engineering experience on the U.S. East/West Coast
- Background in the financial services, cybersecurity and/or identity management space
- Global sales experience, especially in Latin America
Preferred:
- BS in Business or relevant field required
- Sales training including Consultative/Solutions selling
- Other business-related training including Dale Carnegie or others
- Can do and willing to do spirit in perpetuity
