Job Summary
Working within a global technical support team to provide engineering and technical support solutions for the end user computing environment; whilst maintaining a secure, stable and performing environment. Subject matter expert for Exchange Online and support of E-Mail related systems and security.
Primary Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities, not limited to:
- Work within a global team that supports messaging, collaboration, and mobile services to client associates.
- Escalation point for the ServiceDesk and global IT teams for day-to-day support. Managing and resolving incidents, requests or problems within defined SLAs
- Provide day to day support of M365 with core focus on E-Mail services to ensure secure, proper and efficient operation. This will also include out of hours maintenance activities and 24x7 on-call support within a rotation.
- Delivery and driving of projects and initiatives as assigned ensuring deliverables are met and fully documented.
- Ensuring the successful design and operational delivery of E-Mail and M365 related services
- Maintain a secure M365 environment by being proactive and responsive to security vulnerabilities and implementation of security controls.
- Continuously seek improvement and develop our EUC services to provide efficiencies and document configurations, knowledgebase articles and processes
- Working closely Cyber Security teams to implement policies and configuration in relation to securing the E-Mail/Messaging services.
- Experience with implementing resilient solutions and participating in Disaster Recovery tests to ensure business continuity plans are viable.
Qualifications/Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of implementing and administration of Exchange Online (M365)
- In-depth knowledge of implementing and supporting Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 in an enterprise hybrid environment.
- Extensive knowledge with troubleshooting and administrating using PowerShell.
- Experience with migrating from on-premises Exchange to M365 and tenant to tenant migrations
- Experience with supporting and administering email security products and practices (email gateways, DMARC) with experience of using ProofPoint preferred.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of complex problems to implement preventative measures and improve system stability and end user experience.
- Excellent customer service, high levels of communication and the ability to manage problems through to resolution and providing stakeholder updates.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplined agile / DevOps environment
- Good knowledge and experience with supporting MS Outlook
- Experience with managing and administering data backup solutions for Exchange Online recovery.
- Experience working in a regulated financial industry is preferred.
- Experience working in environments that require strict adherence to change control policies and regulatory controls.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2022
- Knowledge of Intune and managing mobiles devices is desirable.
