SCHEDULE -
Hybrid schedule: Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm
TRAVELLING -
25% - 30% throughout the year
SALARY RATE -
Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 / year
Essential Duties And Responsibilities –
- Analyze and process rebate claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of rebate programs and their requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure rebate programs are effectively communicated to customers.
- Develop rebate program training materials and deliver training sessions to sales employees, external contractors, and customers.
- Reconcile rebate accounts, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Audit and validate supporting documentation for rebate claims to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with finance department to issue rebate payments and manage any discrepancies.
- Monitor and track rebate claim status, providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders as necessary.
- Develop and maintain reports on rebate activity, effectiveness, and financial impact.
- Coordinate with purchasing and territory managers on forecasting for rebate submissions.
- Partner with product category managers and inventory leads to ensure we stock products eligible for rebate submissions.
- Coordinate any issues with contractors to set up e-commerce solutions for rebate opportunities.
- Resolve any issues or disputes regarding rebate claims, acting as a liaison between customers and the company.
- Ensure accurate record keeping for all rebate transactions for audit purposes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of rebate processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide customer service support for rebate inquiries and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Stay informed about industry standards and regulations related to rebates and discount programs.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in rebate processing, accounts payable, or a similar role.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of data
- Knowledge of rebate program management and vendor negotiations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions to rebate calculations
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly in rebate or finance modules
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to rebates and financial transactions
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex calculations
- Experience in preparing detailed reports and presentations for management
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
Salary Description
$65,000 - $90,000 / year
