We are currently working with a US-based consultancy, who provide specialised compliance and security services to global clients. They are looking for a contract Security Project Manager to manage a PCI-DSS certification process for an enterprise client.
Responsibilities
- A Security Project Manager to lead the internal project management role for client organization and handle the PCI-DSS certification project management, including but not limited to working with all internal audit stakeholders for evidence preparation and submission to QSA, milestone and/or SLA management.
- A Security Project Manager to collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and organizations, doing the milestone escalations to the management team.
- A Security Project Manager responsible for tracking all the certification projects, Cyber Security service (scans/tests) activities, and milestones progress per defined project plan.
- A Security Project Manager to provide daily/weekly project status to the client management team.
- A Security Project Manager to schedule and facilitate recurring calls with customers during the project IT security compliance cycle.
- A Security Project Manager to track and communicate the project risks, and customer impact issues, including coordinating with management to resolve the identified issues.
- A Security Project Manager to track the evidence status daily and prioritize according to customer type, certification date, and project completion timelines.
- A Security Project Manager to use the internal project management system to complete the defined tasks and update the required project information in a timely manner
Skills needed
- 5 years relevant work experience in the field of project management (security) for customer services organizations
- Experience in delivering security compliance projects, in particular PCI-DSS
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other Project Management certification
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Quick learner, shift directions quickly, and translate organizational needs and concerns into a solution-oriented discussion
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leader
