A Private Equity tech company of ours are looking to grow their cybersecurity program by hiring an Information Security Manager. Reporting to the General Counse, this role will collaborate closely with Legal, IT, and business teams to enhance governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives. You’ll make an immediate impact and have the opportunity to grow alongside our rapidly evolving business.
The ideal candidate will:
- Provide strategic, creative, and effective cybersecurity risk management advice.
- Guide teams on compliance, training, and documentation related to cybersecurity.
- Use sound judgment to balance risk with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day compliance with our cybersecurity program, focusing on governance and continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of a formal business continuity plan
- Conduct annual threat-mapping exercises related to cybersecurity and associated risks.
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify critical systems and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement regular testing protocols for cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Drive compliance with established cybersecurity protocols, focusing on governance, training, and employee engagement.
- Contribute to business initiatives, minimizing legal risks related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and compliance
- Significant experience in intellectual property, data management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field with strong academic credentials.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, including familiarity with project management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
