Summary:
The Enterprise Sales Manager is a key role responsible for driving sales of managed services and products to large enterprises. This position focuses on building strong relationships with key decision-makers, identifying business opportunities, and closing complex deals. Collaboration with internal teams, such as product and marketing, is crucial to delivering a seamless customer experience. Success in this role will require a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas, particularly in IT services and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with large enterprises.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiate and close large, complex deals with a focus on meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and pipeline.
- Introduce new products, benefits, and features to customers and prospects.
- Respond to RFI, RFP, and RFQ opportunities in collaboration with the inside sales team.
- Participate in sales training and contribute to the team’s development.
- Address product gaps and stay informed about competitive alternatives.
- Obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required.
- Design and deliver presentations to customers.
- Engage with relevant networking communities, user groups, and industry organizations.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
- Must have MSP or VAR selling experience.
- 5+ years of enterprise IT sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding IT services sales quotas.
- Experience driving solutions-oriented sales in the IT industry.
- Product knowledge in data center infrastructure, mobility, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
- Strong sales aptitude with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented leadership approach.
- Ability to obtain and maintain vendor certification competency.
