Primary Objective Of Position
Are you looking to join a growing organization where you can apply your strategic leadership? Newmar is seeking an IT Applications Manager to join our team based in Nappanee, IN. This position will effectively analyze, plan, organize, and lead the IT Applications teams in the support of all business IT applications while managing risk, workload, scope, capacity, schedule, and budget. The position will be responsible for working closely with project sponsors, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, technical resources, senior management, and executives in the delivery and support of applications that ensure that the needs of business users are fully addressed, and continuous improvement is being achieved.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Research, procure and manage software applications that will contribute to the success of the Newmar.
- Leads the performance and development of staff by establishing priorities and managing the work performance ofstaff and managed contractors.
- Provides direction to the IT Applications team ‐ setting targets/goals, mentoring, providing feedback and guidance, and hiring team members.
- Seeks an understanding of the customer’s needs and partners with enterprise team members and Newmar leadership members to drive and deliver innovative results.
- Maintains a strategic perspective that guides planning and execution of enhancements and projects in accordance with business needs, and enterprise-wide directions.
- Ensures proper documentation exists for operational processes, procedures, and controls.
- Understand the requirements of the business to provide automations to increase business efficiencies with emphasis on digital transformation.
- Oversee upgrades for software.
- Manage the licensing and budgeting of software applications.
- Report on progress of operational issues to senior management, end users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements of the business, including the enterprise.
- Maintains and develops internal control environment and participates as a control owner in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)activities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
- Project management experience
- Experience with applications such as Infor XA, Siemens PLM, Salesforce, Xalt, Access, Power Bi preferred.
- Industry-recognized certifications are highly desirable.
