Contract Duration: 6 Months
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving a high-visibility tool pilot, leading requirements gathering, decision-making, and overall project execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the new tool into existing processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of Project Manager or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Proven track record of managing tool implementation or pilot projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage the end-to-end pilot of a new tool, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Translate business needs into actionable tasks, documenting and prioritizing requirements.
- Drive decision-making processes, balancing stakeholder needs and technical feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables using Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and challenges, providing solutions to keep the pilot on track.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination between all project participants, including executive leadership, technical teams, and external partners.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on pilot status, risks, and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teams to assess and integrate the new tool into existing workflows upon pilot completion.
