Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Analyst to join our team at American Bank. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively across various departments. The IT Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our information technology systems, ensuring seamless operations and supporting the bank's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Plans, organizes, and controls the Bank’s day-to-day technology resource activities, and ensures the Bank's technology activities are secure and stable
· Works closely with the Bank’s EVP CBO and various departments in identifying, defining, and remediating various risk-related issues in attaining established goals as directed by the Board of Directors
· Conducts risk assessments and reviews.
· Primary point of Contact for Managed Service Provider and outside CISO
· Analyze and evaluate IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their IT needs.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
· Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective IT service delivery.
· Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
· Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
· Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations.
· Provides assistance, support and guidance to the EVP CBO and other individuals responsible for developing and implementing specific information protection programs within the Bank.
· Assures audit compliance and procedure quality control through internal and external reviews; recommends and initiates corrective actions; and ensures system resources are in compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and federal regulations.
· Reports significant information technology security events to the Board of Directors, Technology Committee, Executive Management, government agencies, and law enforcement, as appropriate.
· Assumes responsibility for special projects and gathers data and prepares reports for the Board of Directors and other members of Senior Management, audits and other personnel.
Required Technical Certifications

o CompTIA A+
o CompTIA Network+
o Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role within banking.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
