The Role
The IT Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure that supports our enterprise applications and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of firewalls, network switching, data center network administration.
Job Duties Include
- Design, implement and maintain local, Cloud AWS/Azure, and wide area networks at an enterprise level, using primarily Cisco products and services.
- Comprehensive understanding of firewall operations, client and site-to-site virtual private networking, infrastructure security and perimeter defense.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related switching and routing issues, as required to maintain 24x7 operations.
- Manage and optimize network switching infrastructure to support enterprise-level traffic and data transmission.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
- Design and deploy SASE architecture to ensure secure connectivity for our distributed workforce.
- Oversee the administration of data center servers, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure management with organizational goals and initiatives.
What You'll Bring to Numerator
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Administration
- Proven experience in consolidation/simplification of On-Premise Networks.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and data center operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS) are preferred.
- Ability to occasionally travel to our Lake Mary, Florida office as needed for hardware issues or special projects.
