Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager, specializing in State and Local Government and Education sectors, to operate remotely within the Great Lakes Region. In this strategic role, you will be pivotal in managing key enterprise-level accounts, demonstrating our cutting-edge product offerings to prospective clients, and aligning our innovative solutions with their specific challenges to address emerging cybersecurity threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement robust account strategies to secure new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within your designated region, working autonomously and collaboratively to achieve targets.
- Negotiation and Closure: Skillfully negotiate and finalize contracts to surpass booking and revenue objectives.
- Decision Maker Access: Proactively identify and engage with primary decision-makers in target accounts, particularly CIOs and CSOs, to enhance sales initiatives and accomplish objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support—to improve engagement and visibility with target accounts at all organizational levels.
- Partner Engagement: Collaborate with partners to maximize their existing relationships and presence within accounts.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of essential prospect information utilizing Salesforce.
Required Skills
- Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud, and SaaS technologies, with a proven success record in field sales and new account acquisition.
- Extensive experience engaging with large State and Local Government and Education agencies, demonstrating a strong capability to build relationships with senior executives.
- Proficient understanding of how technological solutions resolve business challenges, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Proven sales expertise in target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong analytical abilities for effective problem solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with effective time management and decision-making capabilities.
- Highly self-motivated and thriving in a fast-paced environment, adept at working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear presentations to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
