Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Infrastructure & Security to lead their technology infrastructure and security initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring their IT systems' reliability, security, and efficiency, as well as managing relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare IT environments and a strong understanding of compliance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Security Oversight: Develop and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with MSPs, ensuring they meet performance and service level agreements. Conduct regular reviews and audits of vendor services.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop a long-term IT strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances operational efficiency.
- Incident Response: Establish and maintain an incident response plan to address security breaches and system failures.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure and security budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Project Management: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture, security policies, and vendor performance documentation. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on status and risks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards related to healthcare.
- Vendor Management: Proven experience in managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and mentoring teams.
