Job Role: Project Manager for Data Loss Prevention Projects
Work Location: Frisco, TX or San Antonio, TX (In-office presence required)
Duration: 6-12 months
Position Overview:
Client is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in project management, particularly in security-related projects, and demonstrate the ability to oversee complex initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Data Loss Prevention projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure accountability among team members.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on security projects, preferably in DLP.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of data security principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technical concepts related to DLP, though hands-on technical skills are not required.
Additional Information:
- This position requires daily in-office attendance in either Frisco or San Antonio.
- Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
