JOB DESCRIPTION:The Reinsurance Specialist will work in a team environment to file reinsurance claims with the carrier on over-specific claims. When necessary, they will gather all documentation for proof of all claims. This person will run RX reports for filing, complete over-specific claims cover sheets, and document claim filings on Excel Spreadsheet at the time of filing. They will log all reimbursements in Excel and send letters to the clients regarding refunds. This person will also research unpaid and rejected over-specific claims and reply to the reinsurance companies. They will scan all submissions into WLT and keep files on these over-specific individuals. Balancing with the Marketing Department on all closing groups and updating the Client Data Sheet must be completed monthly. As with any job, there may be other tasks assigned as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED. Some college is helpful but not required.
- Health insurance experience is helpful but not required.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
- Polite, courteous, and professional phone skills
- Excellent attendance is a must.
- Excellent customer service and a desire to exceed customer expectations.

PAY BASIS: HourlyHours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
