The Customer Tech Infrastructure team at one of our largest Fortune 100 Energy clients is participating in Brooksource’s Elevate Program, where they are actively seeking a Technical Analyst to perform back-end customer technical functions across billing enhancement projects at our client. Our client recently underwent an Oracle CC&B implementation project and have recently entered their Stabilization phase of the project. They are seeking IT support to help maintain system performance and server health while tackling enhancement projects from the business.

As a Technical Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to support the Customer Care and Billing program, focusing on projects in Oracle Cloud, DevSecOps, Tech Infrastructure, etc. You will be able to work autonomously and be eager to learn and grow in an agile, cross-functional environment. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or similar field OR equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience working with software development languages, preferably Python. (or Perl, C#, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET, HTML, AngularJS, iOS Swift on/or Objective-C, Android Mobile, Xamarin).
- Academic or professional experience with scripting.
- Academic or professional experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about Oracle databases.
- Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about of DevSecOps.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Excellent communications skills - able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
- Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Support server and system health for our client’s Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) platform.
- Support the Architecture and Engineering project portfolio including but not limited to: Oracle CC&B Migration, Oracle ERP Implementation.
- Develop imaging, hardware/software standards supporting core infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot azure application services.
- Create metrics, reports and dashboards around ADO using tools like Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
- Develop automated unit tests and/or automated UI tests.
- Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards and policies.
- Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
- Assist in the development of white papers, presentations, or knowledge sharing for new and recommended solutions.
- Ideate, design, and develop process and technology improvements such as process or test automations.
- Independently meet with business groups involved in miscellaneous projects.
