As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth by aggressively pursuing potential clients, understanding their IT needs, and providing them with customized solutions that add value. This role is ideal for a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for winning new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients within targeted industries and market segments.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to generate leads and secure initial meetings.
- Utilize various channels, including cold calling, networking, and digital outreach, to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's IT solutions and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients.
- Conduct needs assessments and consultative selling to uncover client challenges and propose tailored IT solutions.
- Present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Understand clients' business objectives and challenges.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Provide insights and feedback to the management team to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract details.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client satisfaction, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience
- Proven track record of success in a hunting or new business development role.
- Strong understanding of IT Services, solutions, and technologies.
- Experience with solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Skills:
- Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
- Highly professional persona and polished demeanor. Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Able to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to others verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other IT services.
Knowledge of Auto and/or Commercial Banking space.
