Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor IT personnel, including the service desk and network operations teams.
- Manage infrastructure systems, data centers, telecommunications, and hardware to ensure optimal efficiency and availability.
- Foster a high-performing team culture through coaching and providing professional development avenues.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures aligned with best practices and organizational goals.
- Formulate and maintain long-term IT strategies that support organizational objectives and improve operational workflows.
- Collaborate on budget formulation and cultivate strong partnerships with software and hardware vendors and service providers.
- Supervise cybersecurity strategies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with department heads and executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to support organizational strategies.
- Continuously monitor system performance, planning upgrades, and managing complex implementations while troubleshooting as necessary.
- Review and test security measures to maintain adherence to internal policies and industry standards.
- Develop and uphold disaster recovery plans to ensure swift restoration of critical systems in the event of an outage.
- Engage in ongoing management of IT services to ensure compliance with performance standards and high user satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and management acumen.
- Expertise in IT operations, network management, and cybersecurity practices.
- Proficiency in cloud services and distributed systems, particularly Azure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft systems and networking technologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 8 to 15 years of IT experience, including leadership roles overseeing IT teams and projects.
- 5 to 7 years in IT operations, network management, or infrastructure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required IT security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CASP.
- Knowledgeable in federal and state regulations (HIPAA, NIST, PCI, CCPA) and security governance best practices.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure operations, disaster recovery, security compliance, and system monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
