Manager, ICT Systems Engineering
Full time, Remote Georgia, United States
The BCD Travel ICT Systems Engineering team is responsible for implementing and maintaining server, storage and cloud infrastructure. In this role you will represent the Global ICT Organization and be responsible for managing a larger team of infrastructure engineers.
This role requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures relative to server operating systems, backup and recovery tools, cloud technologies, storage hardware, server hardware, and virtualization tools.
As a Manager, ICT Systems Engineering, you will
- Manage a global team of IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, documentation and procedures
- Act as primary interface during compliance audits
- Establish and/or maintain vendor relationships
- Participate in problem management/troubleshooting/root cause analysis
- Act as point of contact for CMDB infrastructure updates of Cisco UCS, Servers, Storage, and Hypervisors
About you
- Previous experience in a team leadership or management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Windows & Linux server operating systems, server and storage hardware, Cloud, backup and recovery software and virtualization software
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures
- Experience with cloud technologies and solutions (AWS and Azure) is a plus
