Windows Engineer, $65,000 - $85,000 yearly
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Remote Position

R+L CarriersInformation Technology Department has an immediate need for a Windows Engineer at our Wilmington, OH Service Center to administer and maintain existing Windows 2016/2019/2022 servers. The engineer will also administer and maintain Exchange 2019 Exchange, along with Active Directory and Group Policies, while providing high level support to the Helpdesk.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain existing Windows 2016/2019/2022 servers
- Build and install new servers as needed
- Administer and maintain Exchange 2019/Exchange
- Administer and maintain Active Directory and Group Policies
- Work with outside contractors to resolve problems with data equipment
- Work with supervisor on new projects as needed
- In depth network troubleshooting
- Provide high level support to Helpdesk as needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting application and/or networking issues
- Monitor all company computer systems and responds to system messages
- Report, document and escalate reported problems to appropriate vendor
- Demonstrate customer service attitude and work ethic
- Must be able to describe technical situations in non-technical terms
- Knowledge of a variety of peripheral devices is preferred.
- Must have demonstrated ability to handle stress and quickly analyze problems in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications
- MCSE or MCSA certification is preferred
- Recent experience managing and implementing Windows 2019 Active directory
- Support of Microsoft Exchange 2019/Exchange Windows performance and debugging tools
- Installation of Windows 2019/2022 operating systems
- Experience in enterprise and application environment design
- Knowledge of VMware
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated team player
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills are required.
- Must have the ability to work independently and prioritize your workload
