About The Role
Orchestrade is looking for a new member to join our IT team supporting the company across the world to maintain, upgrade, optimize and manage our software, hardware and networks including the security around such infrastructure..
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with the various teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs securely, smoothly and efficiently with appropriate security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a Global team (UK, US, France and Singapore)
- Responsible for all aspects of current network infrastructure in U.S. including network servers, network configurations, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
- Implement robust security measures
- Install Company’s software on AWS and Azure environments and help monitor and troubleshoot internal usage
- Perform hardware upgrades, backups/restores, active directory, software/hardware maintenance and distribution, and internal production system support as necessary.
- Ensure network servers (including backup servers) and all systems are operational at all times.
- Ensure appropriate software environment and configuration for all desktop workstations.
- Provide training to employees in use of hardware, software and networking tools as required.
- Prepare an IT budget.
- Manage and control costs of capital expenditures associated with technical operations, ensuring expenses are less than or equal to the budgeted amount.
- Coordinate the purchase of technical equipment (including communication infrastructure hardware, and software) by researching and making recommendations on new equipment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and resources.
- Work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop an approach to solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Hybrid Active Directory
- Windows Server
- AWS Associate level certification
- Currently valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP or similar security certification.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in network and systems administration in a multi-platform environment.
Preferred Experience
- Databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MongoDB)
- Fortinet devices
- ZTNA, SDWAN, LAN, VLAN, NAC, VPN (IPSEC and SSL)
- Linux
- Virtualization
- Cloud Deployments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspaces, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment.
- Server management experience.
