Job Overview:
The Executive Vice President (EVP) for the USA will play a pivotal role in driving my client's growth and market presence across the United States. This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing the US distribution network, and building a strong organizational presence. The EVP will focus on expanding market share through innovative sales strategies and partnerships while ensuring the business aligns with sustainability and regulatory standards. This role also involves shaping the product portfolio to meet the unique needs of the US agricultural landscape, all while maintaining a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans that align with the company's overall strategic goals.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and leveraging market opportunities, setting sales targets, and creating impactful strategies to meet and exceed them.
- Ensure a customer-focused approach, delivering tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of agricultural stakeholders in the US.
- Distribution Network Management
- Establish and maintain a strong distribution network, selecting and managing partners to optimize reach and market coverage.
- Collaborate closely with distributors to ensure high service standards, efficient logistics, and customer satisfaction.
- Portfolio Strategy
- Develop and execute a portfolio strategy that aligns products with market demand and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed on industry trends and customer needs to drive product development and innovation.
- Position my client as a leader in sustainable agricultural solutions through a robust, market-driven product offering.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Define clear organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful entry and sustained growth in new market segments.
- Financial Management
- Oversee the financial performance of the US business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Implement strategies to maximize profitability while supporting long-term growth and strategic investments.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards within the US agricultural sector.
- Proactively address compliance issues and manage risks to safeguard business operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Represent my client at industry events and forums, enhancing the company’s visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related scientific field; MBA is highly desirable.
- Experience: 15+ years in a senior sales or leadership role within the agricultural sector, with a proven track record in revenue growth and market expansion.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex distribution networks and sales teams.
- Deep knowledge of the US agricultural market and regulatory environment.
- Strong networking abilities with relationships across key stakeholders in the industry.
