Our client, a leading asset management firm specializing in global macro investing, is hiring! They are a very prestigious ~25B AUM fund that has a very good reputation in their space having been around for years. They are seeking a full time System Engineer to join their Infrastructure group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of operational tasks for a 400+ Microsoft Windows server environment
- Troubleshooting server performance, security permissions, and server hardware
- Building and managing server instances both virtual and hardware
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience, which includes managing Windows Servers in a production server environment
- 4+ years scripting or PowerShell knowledge
- 4+ years VMware vSphere knowledge, VCP preferred
- 2+ years AWS/Azure knowledge
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies and server hardware (HP/Dell/Cisco)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, GPO Management
