Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees and directs networking and security of the IT system for Waterfall Community Health System and IT Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide first-level system and network support and problem resolution identification. In collaboration with the COO, helps to grow and develop a strategic plan and roadmap for the IT department
Responsible for one or more components of staff training, printer support, software troubleshooting, and installation, repair, configuration, and modification of, and technical assistance with, computer hardware, software, and network systems. Ensures daily operations of the clinic in regard to It functionality and usability.
Create, maintain, and uphold IT disaster plan in the event of an IT-related emergency.
Directly oversee the IT security of the organization and maintain monitoring of said security, Directly oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the network for the organization.
Grant and revoke security access to users for various systems within WCHC technology including but not limited to EHR/EMR, EPIC, OCHIN, etc. Serve as point of contact for telemedicine activities, including set up and testing of equipment, support of physicians and other providers, and scheduling of the equipment. Develop and adhere to a documented system of IT policies and procedures. Keep abreast of current and developing policies and regulations as well as trends in the IT systems field to guide and advise the organization in conjunction with CL Support. Answers technology inquiries of all types to streamline the help desk function process and refer appropriate technology questions to CL and TP Support as necessary.
Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and approved tracking systems; develop inventory lists. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, printers, VoIP phones, data communication, and computer network systems in conjunction with CL and TP.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational and time management skills. Education and Experience: 2-5 years of IT/Help Desk experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. 2-5 years of on-site Networking and Security Training, preferably in a healthcare environment.
