As a Regional Sales Manager specializing in Federal Sales, you will be instrumental in advocating for state-of-the-art endpoint security solutions tailored for senior executives within the Federal Civilian Community. Your expertise in articulating our product strengths and aligning them with client requirements will empower organizations to effectively tackle sophisticated cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a Federal/Civilian sales territory, incorporating pipeline development and strategic account planning.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with senior decision-makers across IT and upper management within the Federal/Civilian landscape, driving sales initiatives and achieving objectives.
- Formulate and implement strategic account plans to identify and secure new business prospects while enhancing revenue streams from existing clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to surpass booking and revenue goals.
- Engage with decision-makers in key prospect accounts, focusing on strategic opportunities within your designated territory.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Services, and Customer Support to improve visibility and engagement with target accounts.
- Partner with established relationships to leverage their account presence effectively.
- Diligently capture and maintain prospect information utilizing Salesforce and MEDDPICC methodologies.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of solution-selling experience, including at least 3 years within software security or infrastructure products in the Federal Government and Civilian domains.
- Profound knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies alongside competitive market offerings.
- Demonstrated success in surpassing booking and revenue targets through targeted account selling and consultative sales methodologies.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to form executive-level relationships and stimulate demand for our solutions.
- Capability to convey how technology products and solutions resolve business challenges, rendering complex concepts accessible to varied audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to analyzing intricate issues for prompt resolutions.
