Position Title: Vice President, Digital Engagement
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the role of Vice President of Digital Engagement. In this pivotal position, you will spearhead our digital banking initiatives, guiding the development, execution, and oversight of our digital channels, including mobile and online banking, as well as digital point-of-sale experiences. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving digital transformation, enhancing member experiences, and achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic formulation and implementation of the digital channels strategy, including mobile and online banking solutions.
- Continuously refine digital offerings based on member engagement and business requirements while monitoring essential performance metrics.
- Provide inspirational leadership to a team of UX/UI designers, cultivating a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Develop and maintain the long-term vision and iterative roadmap for digital banking, integrating insights from the external landscape, member feedback, and compliance factors.
- Manage vendor partnerships, ensuring accountability and adherence to service level agreements.
- Collaborate with IT and vendor partners to ensure secure, efficient integration of digital platforms with core systems.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and best practices within the digital banking sector.
- Apply agile methodologies to lead the product roadmap by translating them into precise requirements and documentation.
- Promote continuous improvement and open lines of communication within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing digital banking.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and lending departments to create a seamless member experience across all digital channels.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in digital banking and incorporate relevant advancements into our strategic framework.
- Engage in executive leadership meetings, providing strategic insights regarding the digital trajectory of the organization.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as necessary.
Required Skills
- Expertise in the Alkami Digital Banking Platform.
- Strong analytical, reporting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership ability to influence and negotiate at all management levels.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and industry best practices.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and member-focused, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated experience managing external service providers and software vendors.
- Success in overseeing large-scale, complex development or integration projects.
- Quality management skills, including proficiency in test strategy development and impact analysis.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in management, technology, marketing, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated management experience within banking or financial services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of innovative banking technology solutions that meet member expectations.
