Business Development Manager – Cyber Security
My client are is a well-known Cyber Security business specializing in the Incident Response, post breach and Digital Forensics space. This is a new hire as a result of growth in the business.
This role is a combination of selling into new customers as well as managing and upselling on existing relationships.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity where you will be selling a diverse range of security solutions, including breach response services, incident response, and threat actor negotiations, to top-tier clients.
You will be joining a very established and trusted brand in this space and be a proven seller who knows how to network, understands the incident response lifecycle / post breach steps and can help organizations in need with finding the right response services and response quickly.
You will be reporting directly into the founders for this position, this is an important hire for the firm and one that will see the right candidate fully backed and supported to succeed.
The Role:
- This role is a split between new business sales and relationship management.
- You will work with existing customers and build on relationships with Digital Forensic firms, law firms, cyber insurers and breach counsel.
- Identifying opportunities to sell solutions.
- Working with existing customers and introducing additional solution offerings to them.
- Build on the brand name and reputation to win new customers.
- Sell Incident Response / post breach solutions.
Background needed:
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity business development.
- A new business or an account management background with strong upselling success.
- Experience working as an excellent advisor or relationship manager in cyber security.
- An understanding of the incident response space, the post breach lifecycle and breach negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly and relationship management skills.
- Self driven salesperson – we want someone who is motivated to make a difference to help companies who need these services.
