Information Systems Manager
Full-Time, Weekdays, Dayshift

Please join our team as we expand our services to meet the needs of our community. The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, provides primary on-site support for the hospital’s computer, phone, camera, security, and related technology systems, interfacing with corporate IT staff and outside vendors, as necessary. This position has sole responsibility for local hospital IT operations. Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as applicable to role and responsibilities.
Position Specific Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate local information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Responds timely and effectively to troubleshoot and address problems reported by users with respect to computers, printers, network equipment, TV, phone, security cameras, electronic locks, and other electronic and technology systems. Responses should include identification and replacement of defective components, training and assisting users on use of technologies, etc.
- Proactively manages technology equipment and systems, with advice and direction from management and corporate I.T., to ensure that all systems operate effectively, efficiently, and secur
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Work on assigned projects or special circumstances in a timely manner including other duties assigned by CFO or CEO

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field preferred. Consideration will be given for candidates with an associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience required in maintenance of computer and network equipment required.
- Experience with telephone and camera systems. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred, but not required.
Certifications/Licensure
Other Skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with supported users, hospital management, and corporate I.T. Staff.
- Must have strong customer service skills to provide timely and effective support to users.
- Must be able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple demands with minimal supervision.
