Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this individual is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operations of all Bank computer infrastructure and applications. This position requires excellent organizational skills, effective time management, strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills. The position requires at least 5 years of Information Technology experience preferably in a financial services environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Has responsibility for the daily operation, efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank Information Systems by:
• Managing assigned projects and initiatives
• Overseeing network and application operations
• Managing the security of the Banks information assets
• Providing support and guidance to other Information Technology staff
2) Management of user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
3) Supports, installs, maintains and upgrades the Banks server infrastructure including all hardware and server software, Active Directory and Group Policy.
4) Responsible for the daily server backups, creating backup documentation and working with the Director of IT Operations to develop and test disaster and business continuity recovery procedures.
5) Participates in regulatory examinations, internal audits, external audits and compliance reviews. Contributes to writing procedures and policies if requested.
6) Works with external vendors and service providers on Bank application infrastructure and applications.
7) Support and maintain the Banks messaging and email applications including the client and server components of Microsoft 365.
8) Responsible for assisting other Bank departments in the support of Bank customers who require technology assistance with Bank applications.
9) Work to standardize, document and oversee the deployment of the Banks desktop environment.
10) Manage the security updates and patching process within the Bank for all servers, desktops and third-party applications.
11) Oversee, monitor and troubleshoot network issues at the LAN and WAN level. Work with all outside service providers to manage effective network communications.
12) Responsible for ensuring that the Banks centralized virus protection software provides protection for the information assets of the Bank.
13) Manages, plans and provides direction for the Banks virtual server environment.
14) Ensures that all employees and management receive timely and accurate troubleshooting assistance.
15) Other Duties:
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must be able to travel to all Branch locations
