POSITION: VP Aerospace Aftermarket Business LOCATION: Jupiter, FL
STATUS: Salary-Exempt
Job Summary
Manage and grow the Aerospace Aftermarket Business as a member of PSM Executive Management. This includes MRO services, such as independent Repair Operations, working with the FAA, supported by business development and strategic partnership functions. Expand team of experienced directors, managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff, and develop new business to meet strategic growth objectives, including potential M&A targets. Run the daily operations of the business to meet financial and operational objectives and metrics. Coordinate R&D development programs plans and investments including business case justifications and develop an annual business plan with a rolling 5-to-10-year cycle. Work with MRO shops, customers, and partners to promote and sell the Aerospace Aftermarket portfolio. Coordinate approach with Hanwha’s Aerospace Division.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 20 years of applicable experience in the Aerospace industry or closely related manufacturing/repair environment
- Master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
Skills/Experience
- 15+ years of Aircraft Engine Manufacturing and Repair experience in Aerospace, preferably on hot section engine parts
- 15+ years of proven experience of development/production implementation projects
- 15+ Years of proven Project Management and Leadership Skills
- 15+ Years Experience working on cross-functional reporting teams with global exposure both internally and externally, also requiring communication skills at an advanced level
- 15+ Years minimum in charge of department/P&L with responsibility of both financial and operations deliverables
- 15+ Years Presentation skills & experience representing the company to customers, board members, and Executive management
- Ability to work in a professional, friendly, team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Willing and able to travel as required, including international travel
