What is the work?
Administration / Project Management:
- Administers / maintains department-specific processes and tasks
- Collects / compiles / analyzes basic information and data for inclusion in reports and presentations for management
- Applies extensive knowledge of one or more business unit programs
- Maintains data integrity; updates business databases
- Maintains / updates department website / department databases
- Communicates initiatives and programs to internal / external clients
- Coordinates events; schedules / arranges meetings; prepares progress reports related to programs or processes
- May assist in budget preparation and reconciliation
- Provides specialized support; assists in daily coordination of projects / process for both internal and external businesses
- Coordinates small projects and processes with direct supervision
What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a business-related environment, or experience related to the area / department of assignment
- Experience in project coordination and event planning

- Including identifying gaps and root cause
- Using critical thinking and analytical skills to mitigate those issues to present potential solutions to management
- Working knowledge of software, systems, and applications required by the department (e.g., Business Intelligence, FinNet, PeopleSoft, AutoCAD, plan-o-grams, etc.)
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Strong verbal / written communication skills, including proper use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail
- Ability to exercise judgment / employ basic reasoning skills within a scope of established practices and policies, and seek direction only when issues arise outside of known precedent
