Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Program/Project Manager for Cyber Security. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end planning and execution of cyber security projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for multiple, concurrent security projects
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to identify risks, define project scope, and ensure the successful implementation of security controls
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure milestones are met within budget and on schedule
- Manage communication between stakeholders, including regular status updates, risk management reports, and steering committee presentations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Coordinate vendor selection and management for security tools and services, overseeing contracts, SLAs, and performance
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and ensure adherence to cyber security policies and best practices
- Lead post-implementation reviews and ensure effective incident response planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field
- Certifications such as PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on cyber security initiatives
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a strong focus on detail and execution
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
