Vice President, Strategic Campaigns - Combat & Strategic Platforms
Indianapolis, IN
This position will work to support the Americas Defence team and Combat & Strategic Platforms Strategic campaign team to grow the business while leading a multi-discipline, multi-functional team to progress opportunities through the sales process from requirements definition to the delivery and negotiations of proposals with our customers. This role is responsible for all capture activities for our U.S. offerings in Hypersonic Propulsion, Unmanned Collaborative Combat Propulsion and related technologies.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead for the Order Intake of Hypersonic and high Mach propulsion technology(s) and Unmanned system propulsion systems in the U.S. critical to Defense's Growth strategy
- Support strategic campaign activities for U.S. strategic platform propulsion systems
- Lead the development of a holistic campaign plan, including technology and market strategies
- Lead the development of a winning capture strategy, capture plans, proposals, and customer responses
- Will lead customer and partner relationships critical to the campaigns
- Will lead Strategic Capture activities plus multi-discipline, multi-functional support teams
- Provide the 'Voice of the Customer' to internal company stakeholders and obtain input from senior customer stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering and 10+ years relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering and 8+ years relevant experience, OR
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering and 6+ years relevant experience, OR
- JD/PhD and 3+ years relevant experience, OR 12+ years in a Customer Facing role in lieu of degree
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high Mach and hypersonic technologies including propulsion, thermal management, and integration
- Experience in unmanned system propulsion including integration into survivable systems
- U.S. Department of Defence program management and requirements development experience
- Strong interpersonal skills including experience with presenting to customers, partners, and government officials
- Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders with DOD Customers
- Knowledge of Government contracting and current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors
- Experience developing overall win strategy, shaping deals with customers, developing team strategies
- Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market
- Experience in Program or Project management to include planning, risk management and requirements management
- Experience in U.S. Department of Defense technology and/or program acquisition or experience in sales process within industry
- Business acumen and commercial experience including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience building a common vision within complex organizations to include execution teams, customers, and teaming partners
- Experience initiating and encouraging collaborative team discussions
- Capability to turn data into useful intelligence
