We are offering an exciting opportunity for a multi level Security Engineer based in Davenport, Iowa. The role primarily involves the evaluation of third-party vendor security protocols, managing cybersecurity risks, collaborating on identity and access management practices, and playing a key role in incident response strategies. This is a NEW ROLE within the organization and will be joining a team of 4. MUST HAVE Enterprise experience. Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess the security protocols of third-party vendors and partners to ensure robust data protection and compliance.
Lead the identification and mitigation of potential cybersecurity risks associated with IT operations.
Maintain and continually update the Cyber Security Risk Register.
Act as a primary contact during external audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate closely with teams to enhance identity and access management practices.
Act as a backup for related roles as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and comprehensive understanding of all cybersecurity operations.
Assist in the development and refinement of incident response strategies, ensuring the organization is prepared for any potential security breaches.
Act as a key resource during security incidents, providing expert knowledge and support to teams.
Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Firewall Technologies, Configuration Management, Cyber Security, Security Protocols, Data Protection, Security Architecture, Enterprise Infrastructure, and PCI DSS to fulfil role responsibilities effectively.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cyber Security role within the Financial Services industry
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
Experience in Cloud Technologies
Knowledge of Firewall Technologies
Demonstrable skills in Configuration Management
Expertise in Cyber Security and understanding of related best practices
Familiarity with Security Protocols
Experience in Data Protection
Ability to design and implement Security Architectures
Knowledge of Enterprise Infrastructure
Experience with PCI DSS compliance
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred
