You'll provide critical Level 1 and Level 2 support, working across a variety of technologies and platforms, from hardware diagnostics to configuring LANs and Wi-Fi systems. You'll not only solve complex IT issues but also have the chance to lead impactful initiatives, including user training and process improvements. The Role:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support across a range of technologies as part of the Global IT service desk.
Diagnosing and resolving IT issues on both hardware and software platforms.
Working with the Global IT team on project implementation tasks including training of end users.
Supporting the deployment of internal IT systems and processes and tracking IT associated IT assets via our IT register.
Management of user accounts both in Active Directory and in Microsoft 365.
Developing and maintaining internal workflows within SharePoint online (Forms / Lists etc).
Participate in supporting Global IT's cybersecurity/compliance policy and procedure.
Work effectively as the local IT resource in Haverhill and as part of the larger global IT team across the Group.
Participate in a local on-call rota as required by business needs.
Take ownership of the resolution of individual issues - as assigned.
Deliver excellent customer service to our employees.
Skills and Experience required:
Minimum 3 years relevant IT support experience preferably gained in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows platforms (Win 10 / Win).
Solid IT troubleshooting experience on Windows based desktops and laptops.
Good working knowledge of layer 2 networking
Experience of supporting servers in a virtualised environment (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
Some experience of managing Microsoft 365 services is desirable.
Experience of utilising M365 tools including SharePoint / Lists / Forms etc would be desirable but not essential
Exposure to Dynamics 365 would be useful but not essential.
A 3rd level qualification in a relevant field would be desirable.
Excellent Problem-solving Skills, With Strong Technical And Analytic Capabilities.
A high attention to detail is critical, especially when recording and reporting information as this role is based in a highly regulated industry.
A good team player with a strong work ethic, yet capable of working on their own initiative given the opportunity.
