Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions in the AWS cloud environment, integrating with identity providers (IDPs) like Okta.
Ensure secure cloud infrastructure by implementing protocols like SAML and OAuth for authentication and authorization.
Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA), Active Directory (AD), and LDAP integrations to enhance security for cloud applications and data.
Develop and streamline processes for user provisioning and de-provisioning across cloud applications to maintain secure access control.
Collaborate closely with AWS Cloud Security, Networking, and Monitoring teams to implement security best practices within AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, and GitLab/GitOps environments.
Continuously monitor and assess security risks, implementing proactive measures to ensure compliance with security standards.
Work with stakeholders to clarify security requirements and contribute to technical design decisions to enhance the overall security architecture.

Required Experience

5+ years of experience managing identity solutions in the cloud including integrating with IDPs like OKTA and federating identity systems.
Experience with protocols like SAML and OAuth.
Candidates should have experience with MFA, AD, LDAP integrations and with approaches to simplify user provisioning and de-provisioning of access to cloud applications and data.
Experience in automating infrastructure and application workflows using Python, with a strong focus on developing and maintaining GitOps pipelines for continuous deployment.
Experience implementing security controls and best practices for cloud-native services, including Kubernetes (EKS), container security, and securing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
Proficiency in conducting security assessments, audits, and incident response in cloud environments, with a focus on vulnerability management and threat mitigation.
Must possess the ability to work collaboratively in teams, while communicating thoughts, concerns, and ideas professionally.
Willingness to work with stakeholders to help clarify requirements and to positively influence technical direction through technical designs
Ability to be flexible to changing priorities
