Job Title: Business Analyst with Security Experience / Security Analyst
Rate: $40-50/hr on CTC
This is hybrid and they want someone from Maine or New Hampshire area.
Project Overview:
The Statewide Cybersecurity Coordinator enhances cybersecurity coordination and outreach across local governments. This role ensures consistent cybersecurity awareness, readiness, and best practices, providing essential resources and support to entities lacking capacity for independent cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop educational materials and outreach programs for cybersecurity across various government levels.
- Coordinate statewide cybersecurity efforts and promote best practices.
- Identify gaps in cybersecurity and propose strategic enhancements.
- Lead collaboration with federal, state, and local partners on cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Public Administration, or related field.
- Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of strategic planning, project management, and cybersecurity experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with state/municipality government and federal grant programs is beneficial.
Work Environment:
Primarily remote with occasional travel across Maine for meetings and stakeholder engagement.
