Position: Regional Sales Manager, Federal Sales
Job Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager for Federal Sales, you will be instrumental in championing advanced endpoint security solutions to senior executives within the Federal Civilian Community. Your expertise in aligning our product features with client requirements will be crucial in empowering organizations to counter sophisticated cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a Federal/Civilian sales territory by utilizing in-depth knowledge of Federal Government Regulations.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within the Federal/Civilian sector to drive sales strategies and meet objectives.
- Formulate and implement strategic account plans to uncover and secure new business opportunities while increasing revenue from existing clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to surpass booking and revenue goals.
- Engage with decision-makers in critical prospect accounts, focusing on strategic opportunities within your designated territory.
- Collaborate with team members across various departments—including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Services, and Customer Support—to enhance visibility and engagement with target accounts.
- Work closely with partners to leverage their existing relationships and established account presence.
- Accurately document and maintain prospect information using Salesforce and MEDDPICC methodologies.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of solution-selling experience, with at least 3 years in software security or infrastructure products within the Federal Government and Civilian sectors.
- Strong comprehension of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies, along with an awareness of competitive offerings in the market.
- Proven success in exceeding booking and revenue targets through targeted account selling and consultative sales approaches.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the capability to cultivate executive relationships and generate demand for our solutions.
- Exceptional ability to articulate how technology products and solutions address business challenges, simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to resolving complex issues promptly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
- Outstanding time management, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel on short notice and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
