Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for an Information Security Engineer to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for implementing and managing network controls throughout the environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement security controls within two teams
- Organize, execute, and maintain intrusion detection system, threat detection system, security infrastructure devices, firewalls, web protocols, and email security
- Examine security instances and advise remediation solutions
- Plan, engineer, and monitor the security for the protection of the network and business applications
- Implement the latest technologies and processes that will improve the overall security profile using industry standards
- Create documents to note vulnerabilities, report, and monitor findings
- Assist with definition and maintenance of security policies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of network security experience
- 5+ years of IT cybersecurity, infrastructure, application security
- Experience working on cybersecurity projects involving cross-functional teams and business units
- Ruckus, Cisco/Palo Alto, Artic Wolf, or Proofpoint exposure
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional certifications
- Vendor management experience
TERMS:
