With over a decade of experience in delivering Information Security and technology projects, you have a proven track record of managing complex initiatives and driving strategic goals. Your strong emotional intelligence and superb interpersonal skills enable you to build trust and effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders. You are a self-starter, problem solver, and possess entrepreneurial spirit, always seeking to improve processes and deliver value. With a deep understanding of government cybersecurity compliance and regulation requirements, you have successfully implemented security outreach programs and participated in BISO programs. Your technical writing skills and ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences make you an effective communicator and influencer. You are committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging security threats and industry trends.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establishing and driving security engagement strategy, building cross-functional trust, and ensuring security requirements are prioritized on corporate roadmaps.
- Developing, implementing, and tracking the BISO Program with Business Units in concert with the Product Security Program.
- Partnering with internal organizations and the Program Management Office/Chief of Staff to understand pain points and ensure security is integral to product, engineering, and feature development.
- Empowering Product Security Teams to make informed security decisions for evolving tech stacks and product development.
- Developing and publishing company-wide cybersecurity communications from the Office of the CISO.
- Contributing to security training and partnering with Training & Awareness and Product teams for a security-focused education curriculum.
- Ensuring current and potential customers are confident in Synopsys’s security posture and guiding partner organizations in their security journey.
- Highlighting security as an indicator of company health to the board, shareholders, regulators, and the wider security industry.
- Authoring and approving external blog posts or video shorts on major industry events and new security-related product developments.
- Championing participation in conferences, policy issues, standards bodies, and other media/government relations requests.

What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of experience delivering Information Security and/or technology projects/programs, or security outreach & training, or product/application security leadership positions.
- 7-10+ years of managing teams and direct employee development and performance.
- 5+ years of technical writing experience.
- Experience in building and implementing security outreach/awareness programs with measurable success.
- Experience with BISO programs and a demonstrated track record of implementing strategic goals with direct impact on Information Security results.
- Industry understanding of government cybersecurity compliance and regulation requirements.
- Experience managing concurrent initiatives, assessing, prioritizing, and measuring success criteria for programs.
- Proficiency in using analytics for decision-making and measuring progress and performance.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You will be part of Synopsys' Information Security team, dedicated to building and enhancing our cybersecurity outreach programs. The team collaborates closely with various internal departments, including Product Security, Training & Awareness, and the Program Management Office, to ensure consistent and effective security engagement. Together, you will work to promote Synopsys’ commitment to security excellence and transparency, driving superior security performance and building trust within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Rewards and Benefits:
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $198,000.00 - $296,000.00. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
