Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Analysis: Lead and perform design tasks to support the implementation and optimization of security solutions.
- Business Alignment: Ensure security solutions meet business needs and comply with architectural governance and security standards.
- Stakeholder Advocacy: Promote security requirements across network, infrastructure, app development, and operations, ensuring business needs are met.
- Security Architecture Development: Create and maintain a security architecture process that aligns with business, technology, and threat drivers.
- Artifact Management: Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts, including models, templates, standards, and procedures.
- Procedure and Standards Drafting: Draft security procedures and standards for executive review and approval.
- Threat Modeling: Conduct or facilitate threat modeling for services and applications, linking risks and data.
- DevOps Collaboration: Work with DevOps teams to promote secure coding practices and escalate concerns to the CISO.
- Data Privacy Coordination: Collaborate with the privacy officer to document data flows and recommend security controls.
- Principles and Guidelines Definition: Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns for future-state security architecture.
- Product and Service Evaluation: Facilitate the evaluation and selection of cybersecurity products and services.
- Impact Assessment: Identify organizational and financial impacts of security architecture.
- Vendor Management Liaison: Conduct security assessments for existing and prospective vendors.
- Internal Audit Collaboration: Work with the internal audit team to evaluate the design and effectiveness of security controls.
- Customer Service Promotion: Actively promote customer service standards and develop effective relationships within the organization.
- Team Participation: Participate in team concepts, promote team efforts, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
