Role: Security Engineer
Location: Frederick, Maryland
Work model: Hybrid - Fulltime
Salary: $100,000- $150,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves:
- Holds an active Security Clearance
- 2+ years of experience in a security engineering or cybersecurity role
- Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and encryption technologies
- Strong knowledge of network and application security principles
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or similar
