- This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
- In the position, you will serve as a professional information technology (IT) specialist providing a wide range of IT services tailored to support architecture development, software development, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for cyberspace systems. Provides advanced knowledge and skill in the development, use and sustainment of IT systems and is considered an advanced IT user!

- Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance
- Must sign a non-disclosure agreement
- Knowledge of IT systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the cyber weapon system environment
- Knowledge of operational activities (such as special operations, personnel recovery, airlift, etc...), weapon systems, and command, control, and mission process, systems, and applications.
- Knowledge of IT management information systems and applications software technology to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system, and applications software programs and to measure system performance evaluate risk, and/or extend weapon system capabilities to support organizational business processes and operations.
- Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed.
- Cybersecurity certification (DOD 8140.01 or 8570.01 IAM Level II)
- Experience with DoD 8500.01 and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- This position may be designated as an acquisition position. If so, the position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) and the employee must meet, or be capable of meeting, the applicable Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements
- Other Desired Experience: NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), RMF, FISMA, DISA STIGs, DoD 8500.01 (Cybersecurity Policy), DoD 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework)
