Position Description
- Define the technical vision and strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives; This includes long-term planning for technology and infrastructure needs
- Serve as the principal engineering & solutions advisor to the executive team, providing strategic insights and guidance on all related matters
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products and solutions, ensuring they meet quality & performance standards
- Collaborate with global leadership to craft, integrate, and synchronize business operational plans across global business divisions
- Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Support overall growth and achievement of financial and strategic objectives for each respective market and the broader business
- Implement and refine development processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality within the engineering team
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on the business
Minimum Requirements
- University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Physics from an accredited program including 20+ years of directly related work experience and 10+ years of management experience
- EMC/RF/Wireless experience is required
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with and understanding of the standards bodies to include: CTIA, 3GPP, ANSI, IEEE, AMTA
