What will you be doing?
Cloud Administrator in support of a classified Intelligence Community Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract that delivers network services to over 400 Industry Partner Subscriber locations.
The cloud administrator will manage and maintain the environment and infrastructure for an organization. They are responsible for deploying, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting various cloud services and resources.
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI CI Poly
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work with engineers to deploy, configure, and manage cloud solutions for the organization.
- Manage user accounts, perform maintenance to ensure uptime of infrastructure.
- Deploy scripts and workflows in favor of automated solutions.
- Enforcing policy and role-based access control for resources.
- Monitor availability, latency, and system health to ensure uptime of the environment.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate with engineering any issues that may arise with the infrastructure.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Generate design documents, best practice configurations, and test procedures.
- Execute testing to validate system performance IAW the developed test plan and criteria.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cloud toolsets and best practices.
- Assist the security IA team to mitigate identified vulnerabilities and provide audit results for security incidents.
Overall Program Support: Assist where needed to keep the overall Program successful.
Qualifications:
- Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
- Security+ CE or equivalent to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, science, engineering or a related technical discipline or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the information technology field to include cloud and Virtual Environments or 7+ years without a technical degree.
- Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare vSphere.
- Experience with Azure PowerShell and CLI, Go, gcloud CLI.
- Experienced with scripting languages.
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems including O365.
- Experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of Local and Wide Area Networks.
- Experience preparing technical documentation.
Desired:
- Experience with cloud solutions Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop or Google Distributed Cloud.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Google certified Cloud Engineer.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
