Full-time direct hire role for a trusted client of ours here on Long Island. This position can sit remote, but candidates must live in NY, NJ or PA.
Travel required to offices throughout tristate area, travel to Long Island office as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address network vulnerabilities (on-premises and cloud).
- Implement security systems and processes.
- Define security technology standards.
- Monitor and improve risk and performance indicators.
- Maintain incident response and continuity plans.
- Conduct penetration testing and manage patches.
- Monitor networks for threats and lead incident response.
- Conduct vendor security assessments.
- Develop security training materials.
- Collaborate on security initiatives.

Education, Experience, Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in information risk and security.
- Knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, SASE, etc.).
- Experience with regulations and compliance (HIPAA, NIST, ISO, etc.).
- Develop and execute security audit plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a matrix organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage stress and work globally.
Certifications (obtain within 18 months if not certified):
