Memphis, TN- Onsite 3 days a week
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and manage security controls for AWS environments to protect sensitive data and applications.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation related to cloud security.
- Monitor AWS environments for security incidents and respond promptly to threats or breaches.
- Assist in the development of security awareness training for staff on cloud security practices.
- Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, specifically in the AWS ecosystem.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS security services (e.g., IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)) are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
This position requires onsite work three days a week in our Memphis, TN office.
